[SFR] Rising Stars For Radiology Grant Program (R-SFRg) - JFR2026 (締切3/31)

Dear friend, dear colleague,

The R-SFRg program offers a one-day, full-immersion research experience as part of the JFR 2026 Congress in Paris, led by world-renowned academic French radiology mentors from the SFR and CERF boards. This program supported by Guerbet combines high-quality lectures, interactive discussions, and dynamic panel sessions, creating an engaging environment where young professionals who share a passion for research and teaching can connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate.

Maximum 15 young radiologists under the age of 40, with promising careers in academic radiology will be selected.

What's included?

  • Free fees to attend the whole JFR congress 2026.
  • Courses and invitations to social events.
  • All accommodations in Paris from Wednesday, October 7th to Sunday, October 11th, 2026 (5 nights).
  • Flights will be partially covered depending on your country of origin.

*A specific flight budget will be allocated to you and indicated in your acceptance letter. Should the ticket price at the time of booking exceed this allocated amount, the remaining balance will be at your own expense.

How to apply?

  • Application form (2 pages) : HERE
    In the application form, please submit the abstract of your current research work, which will be presented during the seminar.
  • Short CV (1 page)
  • Motivation letter (1 page)
  • Recommendation letter from a local mentor (1 page)

[SFR] 2026 Training Scholarships (締切5/31)

CONDITIONS
Qualified radiologist
Maximum age: 35 years
Must be a member of the SFR

Deadline for submission of applications: May 31, 2026

For a training period between September 1, 2026 and May 31, 2027

HOW TO APPLY
1) Application form
2) Acceptance letter from the head of the training radiology department
3) Two (2) recommendation letters from department heads where the candidate has worked
4) CV
5) Recommendation letter from the National Society of which the candidate is a member

This program allows for additional training of up to three (3) months within a French radiology team. All information regarding the application process and conditions can be found in the attached document and at this link.

[SFR] Rising Star For Radiology Grant Program (R-SFRg) - JFR2025 (締切3/20)

Dear friend, dear colleague,

We are pleased to inform you with great enthusiasm that the Rising Star for Radiology Grant (R-SFRg) program will take place in 2025. The 2024 session was a great success among the selected candidates. This seminar is dedicated to young radiologists involved in research and eager to participate in our annual meeting.

This program will offer 15 selected candidates the opportunity to engage in a dedicated research day during our JFR 2025 annual congress in Paris, under the mentorship of distinguished French radiologists from the SFR and CERF boards. The seminar includes lectures, discussions on academic research in radiology, and dynamic roundtable sessions. The goal is to foster a welcoming environment where young colleagues can share their passion for research and teaching.

We kindly request your help in spreading this call for applications among the young members of your society. We hope to receive applications from radiologists in your country who are deeply interested in imaging research.

It is with great pleasure that the French Society of Radiology (SFR) introduces the "Rising Star For Radiology Grant (RSFRg)" program.

This initiative will provide selected candidates the opportunity to participate in a dedicated research day during JFR 2024 in Paris, under the mentorship of distinguished French radiologists from the boards of SFR and CERF.

The seminar's curriculum includes lectures, discussions on academic research in radiology, and engaging roundtable sessions. The goal is to create a friendly environment for young colleagues to share their passion for research and teaching.

Beyond the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, the program aims to cultivate lasting and meaningful connections among international colleagues interested in imaging research.

We kindly request your assistance in disseminating this call for applications among the young members of your society. We hope to receive applications from radiologists in your country who are keenly interested in imaging research.
