The ARRS is launching a new program, Clinician Educator Development Program (CEDP) Level 2. This program is designed for individuals that have previously participated in the ARRS CEDP and/or are current mid-level faculty.

ARRS would like to offer JRS the opportunity to submit a society nominated candidate for consideration to participate in the ARRS 2026 CEDP2. Society nominated candidates should be in a faculty appointment as a lecturer, instructor, or associate professor in an academic center or teaching hospital for a minimum of at least seven (7) years or more post-residency and/or have completed the ARRS Clinician Development Program Level 1 in a prior year. The applicant should be mid-career faculty. If the applicant does not meet these qualifications, the application will not be accepted.

CEDP 2 is an advanced educator program that will cover themes such as applying current learning theories to teaching and curriculum development; leveraging the internet in scholarly work; navigating challenging learning environments and leadership and promotion through education. It will be highly hands-on, combining short didactic sessions with longer active learning exercises, either in groups or individually. Attendees will be asked to register at websites and review short videos prior to the start of the program and to bring a current CV. A laptop is required for this course.

This program will take place on Saturday, April 11 as part of the ARRS 2026 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Society candidates must already be a current ARRS member at the time the CEDP Level 2 application is submitted. Those selected to participate in the CEDP must register for the 2026 ARRS Annual Meeting in order to participate in the CEDP in Pittsburgh.

Additional information about the program is available at https://arrs.org/ARRSLIVE/Scholarships/FellowshipsAwards/cedp-2.aspx. The attached application and related required materials must be submitted to Kerry Davis at kdavis@arrs.org on or before Friday, December 19, 2025. Up to five (5) ARRS Global Partner Society candidates will be selected to participate in the 2026 program.
